Gordon Family Tartan WR641

| A variation on the Red Gordon / Old Huntly. It is
documented in a letter from a David Rodgers of Forfar
addressed to Messrs Wilson of Bannockburn dated July
25th 1796. It illustrates the custom at the time to order
tartan with some variation to suit individual requirements
yet based on the traditional family or district sett.
