Smith Family Tartan  WR65

For more than 400 years a family of Smiths were Lairds in the parish of Strathblane at Craigend and armourers to the Barony of Mugdock. The Smith tartan was designed for Sir William Smith, the founder of the Boys Brigade. It is based on the Hunting Gow tartan.
