| The Scottish Clans Congress of Queensland adopted this design for the State Tartan. Its original designer was Jack Allen, a member of the Scottish Tartans Society and a weaver. The Congress had it produced in darker shades before they formally adopted it with the Govenors of Queensland's backing. |
